For measuring of carbon dioxide concentration in the air or in other gases, e.g. for photosynthesis and respiration with CASSY (524 013, 524 006, 524 005W2, 524 018) or the universal chemistry measuring instrument (531 836). Also suitable for measuring the air quality in a class-room.

Measuring principle: physical, selective infrared absorption of CO₂
Measuring range: 0 ... 10%
High resolution and precision for low CO₂ concentrations (breath, air in a room)
For high concentrations > 4% conclusions can only be qualitative
External diameter: 16 mm, matching GL 32/16 threads, for example
