This experiment case is equipped to treat the subject "Protective measures against dangerous electrical shock" per VDE 0100 (DIN 57100) as called for under the international harmonized version. According to VDE 0100, proper line configurations are conveyed along with necessary awareness of real voltage and current value. This awareness makes use of conventional test instruments safe; their use and handling are also part of the training material in experiments.
Safety sockets and safety leads guarantee optimal personal safety in experiments performed in the low-voltage range.
Experiment case consisting of:
- Line grounding unit with isolation transformer, device protective switch, line switch, line and ground resistors for connection to the following line systems: IT-system, TT-system, TN-system
- Base device for setup of protective measures with transformers. Attachments make the following circuit configurations possible in conjunction with the built-in transformer: PROTECTIVE ISOLATION, PROTECTIVE EXTRA-LOW VOLTAGE
- Industry-common ground fault protective switch, 2-pole, fault current: 30 mA
- Industry-common isolation monitor, with keys for RESET and TEST
- Loads with E14 lamp sockets, e.g. for presentation of loads in TN-C-systems
- Schematic diagram of a human with body resistance and differing ground path resistances.
- 6 safety experiment cables
- 10 safety connection plugs
- 1 light bulb, E14 24 V/5 W
- Line connection: 230 V, 50/60 Hz with line cord and shock-proof plug
