The PTM demodulator converts the pulse time modulation signal (PPM or PDM) back into a PAM signal. By implementing lowpass demodulation the original signal is subsequently recovered from the PAM signal. The PTM demodulator consists of:
- Input pulse shaper
- isolating circuit for synchronization and useful data
- sample and hold element
- sawtooth generator
- demodulator filter
