Compact transmitter module (TPS) for generating a signal with less than 50nW in the VHF band (88-100MHz).
By feeding in a modulated baseband signal, this transmit signal is generated via a superheterodyne structure.
For training purposes, the module is discrete, so that measurements can be made on all filters and mixer stages with an oscilloscope or spectrum analyser.
Together with the superheterodyne receiver, a compact training system can be set up. The aim of the training system is to familiarise undergraduate students of communications engineering, trainees in the field of radio and television engineering as well as prospective radar and radio technicians with modern radio systems.
The module will be available not before autumn 2022.
