The slotted measuring line is used for determining the wavelength in the waveguide. It can also be used to determine the standing wave ratio (SWR) and to test matching, i.e. impedance measurement. The slotted measuring line consists of a slotted line and a moveable platform with measurement probe, which is inserted into the waveguide to sample the field. The coax detector is required to detect the microwave signal.
Design:
Slotted line constructed of aluminium, with LH quick connectors. Displacement of the probe can be read off using a vernier mm-scale. An integrated displacement transducer permits direct evaluation using XY-recorder or CASSY. There is an insert nut in the base section for mounting a support.
