This device is used as the standing platform for dipole, Yagi and helical antennas for the recording of directional diagrams. The angular position of the antenna is set manually and can be read off on a rotating disk with angular scale. The receiving signal of the test antenna is enhanced in a frequency selective amplifier so that it reaches a value easy to evaluate.
