Supplementary unit for cornering lights to be used with the Intelligent automotive lighting management system, 738111 and for LED type daytime running lights of the main lights 738166 and 738167.
The cornering light is a driver assistance system, in which before and during turning or tight cornering the fog lights are turned on. After the process they are turned off again. For recognition of the driving conditions, both data on the CAN bus and analog data are used.
Equipped with many features to cover various topics:
- Comparison of rotation sensor (yaw rate sensor) and steering wheel angle sensor
- Activation by steering wheel movement even at a walking pace
- Difference between curve and cornering light
- Diagnostic via CAN databus
- Signal transmission via low-speed and high-speed CAN bus
- SDVC signal for speed detection, alternatively to the CAN-bus signal
- Additional control of the LED Daytime running lights
- Dimming of the DRL during flashing by PWM control
- Calibration and adaptation of components
- Programmed directly by end users, for example, speed threshold or lighting time on the control unit
The speed signal can be either read from the CAN bus, when an instrument cluster 7396021 exists. Alternatively, an analog input for a corresponding signal can be used.
Equipped with a RJ45 socket for LAN operation. Internal control by the software L.control 725006 or L.control Lite 725007 to set and record the controller parameters from a central master PC and to gernerate faults.
