BS 5.110 Three-phase motor simulator
With the three-phase motor simulator, realistic functional tests of control circuits for three-phase machines are possible. For this purpose, the connection of a "real" machine is not necessary. As the Three-phase Motor Simulator does not comprise any rotating mechanical elements, there is no danger of getting injured. On account of the powerless winding simulation, the electrical
reliability of operation is guaranteed as well. The windings are simulated by LEDs which are arranged according to the symbolic representation of the connection mode. Additional LEDs indicate the direction of rotating field. In this way, the complete state of operation of the "motor" may
be detected:
- the selected connection mode star or delta
- the direction of rotating field "clockwise" or "anti-clockwise"
- the possible deficiency of a phase-conductor.
The Tree-phase Motor Simulator can be used in typical
control circuits:
- star connection, delta connection
- reversing circuit
- star-delta circuit
- star-delta reversing circuit.
Supply voltage: 3 x 230/400 V, 50(60) Hz
Connection: via 4 mm safety sockets
Case: to hang on the ELWE mounting wall.
