The fixed voltage regulators 7805, 7905, the universal voltage regulator uA 723 and the adjustable voltage regulator LM 317 for cuurents up to 1.5 A are investigated. In addition to basic circuits, circuit extensions for voltage adjustment, output increase and current limiting are carried out. The IC's are also used as constant current sources as an additonal application.
