Features
The machine test CASSY drives the generator at constant speed during these experiments. The amplitude of the voltage can be adjusted via an excitation controller. With this setting, the generator can be characterised.The student should learn to understand the behaviour of a generator through measurement and evaluation.
Target groups
Students in vocational training in power engineering. Further education in the field of power plant technology in industry. Students of general electrical engineering and power engineering. Advanced level up to bachelor's degree level.Knowledge of three-phase or alternating current technology is a prerequisite.
