The COM4LAB course entitled “Automotive Digital Technology II” looks at several types of flip-flop and various flip-flop applications, including counters or shift registers. The subject areas are matched to automotive technology in a realistic and applied manner. The course, comprising 8 chapters, also examines the troubleshooting procedure in detail.

The students should be able to:
- to understand the setup, function and functional principle of the individual flip-flops,
- become familiar with use of flip-flops and other multivibrators and

Previous knowledge
The students do not need any previous knowledge of digital technology in order to be able to complete the course successfully. Dealing with simple formulas is, however, required.
