The COM4LAB course entitled “Digital Technology I” is the first course on the fundamentals of digital technology. The fundamentals and laws of Boolean algebra are described using logic operations. The course, comprising 16 chapters, also examines the troubleshooting procedure in detail.

The students should:
- understand the setup, function and functional principle of the individual gates and other logic components,

Previous knowledge
The students do not need any previous knowledge of digital technology in order to be able to complete the course successfully. Dealing with simple formulas is, however, required.
