The COM4LAB course entitled “DC Machines” is the third course to the fascinating world of electrical machines. The performance of the DC machines for different connection types is explained and practically devised using a number of experiments. The course comprises 9 chapters.

Previous knowledge
The students need basic knowledge in the areas of DC and AC technology as well as basic knowledge of electromagnetism in order to be able to complete the course successfully. They should be familiar with the measurement of electrical quantities. In addition, dealing with simple formulas is required.
